Because it's a quick, fun way to get to know me a little better if you're curious. ;)
A - Animals. Obsessed with them. I wish I could save all the big and little animals in the world. If I could make my biggest dream of all come true, it would be that I would own acres and acres (I mean basically an unrealistically large portion) of land solely for conservation of endangered species! If I have the money, I'm definitely contributing towards the conservation movement.
B - Brother. I have one sibling, a not-so-little-anymore brother named Lucas. Fun fact: I picked his name! We're super close. He's a marine and also an undergrad at USF, so he's also really busy right now, but whenever we do get together even if it's been a while we pick up right where we left off like we never left.
C - Colorful. Everything colorful. I like pops of color on decor in a home with neutral walls and furniture, and I use different color highlighters and pens in all of my notebooks. I love to explore mixing paint, love colorful clothes, and just love everything that is a happy hue!
D - Drawing (and painting). I enjoy this so, and used to do it religiously. I wish I had more time for it now, but I'm determined that when 2017 is over I'll dedicate more time to let le creative juices flow.
E - Europe and England. We dream of living there someday. Cool fact: my dad lived in Folkestone in Kent, England when he was around my age! I am obsessed with all things British, and have several friends from there. I also grew up with a lot of European influence in my life because I grew up as a multicultural kid and went to international private schools. A lot of European expats sent their kids to these schools. I also lived in Holland and Austria, and have visited Europe several times. I prefer spelling certain words the "proper" British way - I hate the way "theater" looks and much prefer "theatre" (which I use), and I like "colour" and "favourite" vs their "American" spelling counterparts!
Also, I think England is a beautiful country with such a fascinating history and we would love to live close to the sea (like in Folkestone, as a matter of fact!) or countryside there. We day dream about this and many of our late night conversations have involved some sort of plan to just up and move there once and for all, ha.
F - Friendship. I value it so, so much, and I always strive to be the best kind of friend I can be. I love my friends and always try to be there for them whenever they need me. No matter the hour, I will pick up the phone if you need to talk, and no matter how far I am, I will travel to you just to cheer you up. I'm not tooting my own horn here, but I'm being honest - I'm a damn good friend, and I'm proud of that.
G - Grami and Grampa. Love them so much; they're everything to me. Heaven is lucky to have you, Grampa.
H - Holidays: I'm obsessed with them. Come one, come all, holiday season! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU.
I - Imagination. I have it, I relish it, and I basically live in it. It's so alive and well, haha. I can turn a totally boring and ordinary day into an extraordinary adventure if I just turn on a good soundtrack or go on a walk (and for best results, both simultaneously). It's practically like a teleportation super power - I can be transported anywhere, at any time! Maybe that's why I got in trouble so much at school, hehe.
J - Jokes! If you know me, you know how vital good humor is to my wellbeing!
K - Koda. She's our furbaby, and boy, IS she a baby. She's seriously so spoiled! She's hilarious, and knows exactly when you're feeling down. She'll come over if I'm crying, lick my face, and just be so close to me that I can't help but feel instantly better. She loves playing with other dogs at the park, splashing around in the bay, chasing lizards, and DIGGING. Oh, the digging. Everywhere. Always. But we love her, so, so much. She's added so much joy to our lives, and sure makes the mundane day-to-day special with her bright smile. (Yes, she smiles. We have pictures to prove it!)
L - Late nights. I'm a night owl for sure!
M - Marriage. It's so important to me; it's truly the best thing that's ever happened to me. There is so much about it I want to say but there aren't enough words.
N - NOVEL. Someday I will write it, with this wild imagination of mine, and you will see what I'm talking about. Haha!
O - Outgoing. It's who I am and always have been. (In dog from Up Dug's voice, "If I see you, I will smile at you, and I will wave at you, and I will talk to you, and I will LOVE you!")
P - Pajamas. There is literally no better feeling than immediately ripping off your bra when you walk through the door, jumping in a hot shower or bath, and sliding into your oh so cozy and soft pajamas. If I could live in them I would. Also, I'm obsessed with baby/kids' pajamas and they're my favorite article of clothing to gift to little ones. I love them.
Q - Quirky. That's me! And, it's such a fun word!
R - Rain. Rain, rain, don't go away...because I absolutely love having you around. Nights that consist of cuddling in pajamas whilst listening to the rain are the best kind.
S - Spelling (and grammar) are my favorite thing but when used incorrectly are the bane of my existence. I seriously cannot stand when fully literate people use bad spelling or grammar - it really irks me so much! Bad grammar is definitely my absolute worst pet peeve...*shudders* Please, know the difference between there, their, and they're. You'RE smarter than that. ;)
T - Traveling. Need I say more? If I could just be a nomad for life, that would be great. Thanks.
U - Unique. I really appreciate things that are different and that go against the norm. I go by my own motto, "Go upstream in a mainstream world!" This also applies to blogs, Instagram (*yawn* hipster feeds, cliché themes and overdone filters #basic), and all social media for that matter. Unoriginality really bores me, and despite what the hashtag #liveAuthentic implies, it's not authentic one bit. I'm just being real, yo. Be different and stay true to yourself!
V - Violin. I used to play it when I was a kid and teenager and sometimes it was a pain, but oh do I miss it so. I sadly admit that I haven't been able to play in years due to the fact that my violin is broken. I've tried getting it fixed a couple times, but it breaks again and it's so expensive to keep trying to fix. I wish I could play...I'm hoping I can get it fixed properly or even get a new one eventually.
W - World citizen. This is the term I identify as, and for several reasons. I grew up around the world for one, but I'll get into that some other time!
X - Hmm...well let's see, I did better than I eXpected on my eXams? Haha!
Y - Yellow. I've always loved the color, but I've started to fall more and more in love with it as the years go by. It just evokes so many happy feelings in me whenever I see it! I want to use so much yellow in our new home and will definitely be planting some yellow flowers in our garden. I'm seriously considering painting our front door yellow, too. Ah, yellow, aren't you swell!
Z - Zombies! Definitely one of my favorite spooky/Halloween themes - I'm looking forward to some zombie encounters this Halloween!
